He is Lecturer in Art and Technology at the University of Plymouth (UK) where he is part of the[[http://www.plymouth.ac.uk/researchcover/rcp.asp?pagetype=G&page=289:AZTEC]] (Art, Science, Technology) research consortium, and a member of the research faculty of Transart Institute (A/USA). His research interest concerns software culture and is expressed in various projects such as the co-curated touring exhibition [[http://www.generative.net/generator/:Generator]](2002/03), his PhD thesis [[http://www.anti-thesis.net/anti-thesis.php?id=6:Antithesis: The Dialectics of Software Art]] (2006), and the co-curated public art project [[http://www.kurator.org/wiki/main/read/Hack+Commissions:Social Hacking]] (2007).
