Joasia Krysa

biography

Joasia Krysa is a curator, researcher, and currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Technology, University of Plymouth, UK. She is a co-editor of the DATA browser book series with Autonomedia, New York (http://www.data-browser.net), curator of kurator.org projects (http://www.kurator.org) and collaboratively runs The Curatorial Network with Arts Council South West (http://www.curatorial.net). She previously organised a number of conferences including (with Geoff Cox) ‘globalica: artistic and conceptual tensions in the new world disorder’ as part of the WRO biennial 03, Poland, and ‘artist as engineer’, as part of an Arts Council of England initiative around socially-engaged arts practice, at i-DAT.
