Notes from the meeting with Paula Orrell / PAC (23 November 2006):
1. PAC is free for about two weeks (a week before and week after our w/end event) so we can take over the front gallery and have IAA installation running for at least a week (if they come w/end 17/18 march) until Sunday or Monday 26th.
2. we will use the main reception area to set up an information desk (press packs, etc) and use the plasma screen (that is permanently installed there) to screen documentation/information about the project (Mike L-S and Daniel Emmerson). We could perhaps have it installed w/end 17/18 to make all longer and more worthwhile and run alongside IAA installation in the front gallery?
3. we will use Batter Street room at the back of PAC for the Saturday evening event (Mikroparty) - there is already a screen installed there and Paula agreed to let us use PAC' projector. We will have PA system hired from the City Council and Geoff will lend his mixing desk. PAC will share provision of drinks (which we will offer for free to comply with the licence).
4. as the Sat evening event clashes with the cinema screening Paula agreed to negotiate with Anna (who is the cinema programmer at PAC) not to programme film screening at that time but we need to cover about £180 for the film hire (which should partly cover a loss).
5. PAC will include info about the event in the March brochure and we will also add a card and a separate Press Release to put with PAC's brochure for mail out.
6. Paula will be contacting Lliam Gillick and FREEE to invite to talks on 24th and we need to think about co-charing the event.
