Kate is an artist and researcher and also leads MA Curatorial Practice at University College Falmouth. Her work focuses on the use of the distributed form in contemporary art and curatorial practices. Recent presentations of research include Research as Exhibition symposium at Tate Britain, and Production Through Exhibition CRUMB/Culture Lab symposium. She is currently devising the Electronic Village Galleries pilot research project funded by Arts Council South West. Kate works with Patrick Simons as Glorious Ninth. They make art works that are devised, disseminated and curated with attention to distributed organisational forms. Their work is exhibited in gallery, online and academic contexts.
